Description

The Chateau Gigognan Cotes du Rhone Blanc is made from grapes that are carefully harvested in the morning to preserve their aromas. The grapes undergo gentle sorting and pressing before being fermented and aged in stainless steel vats with fine lees. This blend of Roussanne, White Grenache, Clairettes, and Viognier is sourced from two complementary terroirs. The clay-limestone soil and marly sands in the commune of Sorgues provide volume and aromatic expression, while the high altitude terroir of the Domazan plain offers tension and minerality. When you open a bottle of the Chateau Gigognan Cotes du Rhone Blanc, you'll taste delicious fruity notes of citrus and white fruits with floral undertones. Its lively and tangy mouthfeel is both creamy and zesty, giving it tension and length. To get the most out of this wine, serve it fresh at around 10°C. With a shelf life of up to three years, this wine is perfect for pairing with summer salads, fish, and seafood, or as an aperitif.
