Description

This wine comes from the low and medium terraces of Chateauneuf du Pape, where the soil is limestone clay covered with rolled pebbles. Its Mediterranean climate has two dry seasons, one in winter and a longer one in summer, as well as two rainy seasons, which can be brutal in autumn depending on the vintage and milder in spring. Thanks to the presence of the mistral wind, which blows throughout the year, the vines are able to thrive. The wine boasts a stunning cherry red colour, and its expressive and flattering nose is filled with red fruits. The palate is ample and progressive, yet still manages to maintain a subtle and sensual quality. The wine's ageing notes create a perfect balance, resulting in an airy and luminous whole. This racy wine is a perfect match for red meats, game, and cheeses with character, and we suggest serving it at a temperature of 18°C.
